Gurt Wings are Wing Slingers from the West Country (West Country Wing Slingers) serving up free-range chicken wings and boneless strips soaked in spiced buttermilk for 24hrs and covered in our extra special flour dredge and fried in rapeseed oil until extra crispy. All our wings and strips are sourced locally in the West Country and we have personally visited the farm to ensure highest welfare standards possible.
We make the majority of our sauces in house using only the very best ingredients. The sauces that we dont make in house which is only two on our current menu, we source these sauces from the best suppliers possible and try to source locally from small businesses like ours.
We have a range of sides like our version of the US Tater Tots which we call PoTater Tots, these are small crispy fried pieces of potato which we serve as they are or smothered in melted cheddar cheese. We also have our Halloumi Stix which are tossed in buttermilk and then put into our extra special flour dredge and fried, they are something else!
All our packaging is biodegradable and we dont use any plastic cutlery or straws.
